Deal with the issues in your heart.

One of the hardest things for people to do is to deal with their issues. It’s easy for every person to see the problems and faults of their neighbors. But how many people do you know that are willing to inspect their own lives like they inspect the lives of other people? Very few.

This is why Jesus said to take the plank out of your eye before you can see clearly to remove the speck in your brother's eye. Toxic thoughts stem from wrong thinking, which ultimately stems from demonic spirits.

Also known as fallen angels who were cast out of heaven after turning against God. So remember, you must first deal with your issues before you deal with the problems of other people.

Do some soul searching.

This is an extension of number one. Soul searching will bring you into a serious reality check.

A reality check that will show you that you have many things that need to be fixed. Let's face it; all of us need God. How else would I be able to teach you if I had not had issues my self? The same Jesus that delivered me wants to deliver you as well.

We all live in the same world; however, we all have different lives. How you learn to handle your thoughts will determine your destiny. Taking every thought captive by analyzing it before you draw a conclusion will keep you in the right state of mind. Allowing the wrong thoughts to stay with you can be detrimental to your health. So remember, this if it is not a thought that Jesus would keep in his mind quickly let it go.

Communicate effectively.

Becoming an effective communicator deals with several factors. First, let’s talk about listening. Listening is essential in the development of finding the root of a problem.

Next Form a relationship by listening to God.

This is essential in your development as an effective communicator. When you can communicate with God, he will teach you how to embrace others that he has placed on the earth that need to be connected to you for various reasons.

Watch your words

Your words have the power to make you or to break you. When we were children, we would say sticks and stones would break our bones, but words will never heart us. That is the biggest lie on the planet. And we would say this and not even know what we were saying to each other. The fact of the matter is this; words destroy lives. Words start wars, and words also can bless and heal. This is why God said in his word that he sent his word, and it healed them. So watch your words they have the power to make you or to break you.

See the goodness in others.

No matter what, there is always something good in people. Many people are so scared of the issues of life that they don’t openly display goodness. But your blessing is not contingent on how others treat you. It is contingent on how you treat others. That is why Jesus said to all of us through his word love your neighbor as yourself. To see the goodness in your neighbors so God will see the goodness in you.  Article by Pastor Ernest Scott
